Advisory Council

The Wayne School of Engineering advisory council is essential to the expansion and sustainability of our program.  The duties and responsibilities are:
  1. to give input to the principal in the establishment of goals and objectives for the school.
  2. to assist the principal in evaluating progress toward the goals and objectives.
  3. to assist the principal in the development of the budget of the school and the review of the annual school audit.
  4. to assist the principal in apprising the Board and the community of the needs, goals, and plans for the school.
  5. to assist the principal in the preparation of the annual school report.
  6. to receive and relay input from community, including parents, teachers, and students, leading to the development of better understanding of school policies, rules, and regulations.
  7. to give support to more comprehensive school programs.
  8. to suggest approaches for providing school bus transportation safety, efficiency, and convenience.
  9. to help create an awareness that all property, public and private, should be respected and protected.
  10. to assist the principal and/or Board in such other matters as requested.
